Wooden Balancing Moose Game with Stacking Logs

Carved from solid natural hardwood, this whimsical balancing moose turns physics principles into suspenseful family play. The curved rocking base sways with every added piece, challenging children to judge counterweights, anticipate shifts in gravity, and place wooden logs with delicate finger precision.

Montessori & Early Learning Benefits

• Fine Motor Delicacy: Demands exceptionally steady fingers and controlled force modulation to place logs gently.
• Intuitive Understanding of Equilibrium: Children physically witness how placing weight further from the centre creates tipping moments.
• Turn-Taking & Emotional Resilience: Teaches patience, careful observation of others, and good sportsmanship when the moose topples.

How to Introduce This Material

Place the moose on a level table. Roll the colour/number die and select the designated wooden log. Carefully balance it across the moose's back, letting your child observe the gentle sway. Hand the die to your child and let them carefully select a balancing position for their turn.
